Rev. David P. Jones, CPA | Executive Director

Rev. David P. Jones joined the Mission as Executive Director at the beginning of July 2014. A retired partner of KPMG LLP, he has a BS in Accounting from Florida State University, an MBA from Columbia University (NYC), an MDiv from Alliance Theological Seminary (Nyack), and a ThM Theology from Princeton Theological Seminary. He continues to serve part-time as a Pastor and Elder of Byram Bay Christian Church, a nondenominational church in Hopatcong, New Jersey. David has served as an officer of the board of the American Christian School in Morris County since 2005, serves on the President's Council of New York City Relief, and is board secretary of Africa Potential. Together with his wife Kathi and his daughter Kate, David lives in a townhouse on Lake Hopatcong in Mount Arlington, New Jersey. In his "spare" time he loves to run, sail, kayak, and waterski.

Gerald Manning | Director of Operations

Gerald oversees GRM's daily operations including our Facilities, Housing, and Food Service. He has been serving at GRM in a variety of positions since 1993. He holds a B.S. from State University of New York in Sociology. Gerald has served as a New Life Class teacher and currently leads Men's Small Groups.

Carmella Hutson | Director of Programs

Carmella Hutson is the Director of Programs at Goodwill Rescue Mission. She holds degrees in Human and Social Services, Psychology, and is an Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Currently, she is pursuing her Doctorate in Counseling. She is a Veteran of the United States Navy and served for six years of active duty as a Hospital Corpsman, Petty Officer Second Class.

Since her arrival to Goodwill in 2008, Carmella has worked tirelessly to change the way the homeless person is viewed. She provides a holistic approach to providing services to the homeless and needy men, woman, and children. Carmella has a rule that she truly lives by: "Do unto others, as you would have them do unto you".

Rev. Don Hall | Director of Development

Jermima George | Accounting

Jermima was introduced to the Mission as a volunteer and currently serves on our team as an Accounting Manager. She holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Queens College, City University of New York.

A national of the Commonwealth of Dominica, Jermima moved to the U.S in 2007. She now resides in Newark with her husband and daughter and is an active member of the J.O.Y Church of God in Passaic, NJ.
