Thrift Stores
Goodwill Rescue Mission thrift stores
serve many purposes:
Funding — Thrift stores provide the Mission with
operating funds and allow participants in our Discipleship
Program to have a part in our fiscal health.
Community benefits — GRM thrift stores make low-cost
goods available to folks on severely limited budgets.
At the same time, our in-kind donors receive the satisfaction
that their still-useful items don’t go to waste.
Training — Our thrift stores provide vocational
training for our Discipleship Program participants, helping
them develop character qualities such as responsibility,
dependability, promptness, courtesy, and honesty. Working
also helps restore physical energy and endurance.
