Our Financials

Goodwill Rescue Mission is dedicated to accountability, transparency and an unwavering commitment to have the most impact in the lives of our struggling and homeless neighbors. Founded in 1896, the Mission provides compassionate care and life transforming programs in the greater Newark community.

To better serve neighbors in need, Goodwill Rescue Mission has joined forces with The Bowery Mission and New York City Rescue Mission. Together, we are effectively combating the epidemic of homelessness affecting nearly 80,000 people in the Newark and New York metro areas and meeting the needs of significantly more people across the region. Leveraging over 400 years of combined service, three historic organizations have united to re-imagine the fight against poverty and homelessness.
