Goodwill Rescue Mission is dedicated to accountability, transparency and an unwavering commitment to have the most impact in the lives of our struggling and homeless neighbors.

Founded in 1896, Goodwill Rescue Mission has been providing compassionate care and life transformation programs for the homeless and poor in the greater Newark community for 122 years. In 2016, Goodwill Rescue Mission united with The Bowery Mission in New York City to more effectively meet the growing needs in the New York Metro Area during a time of increased homelessness.
